Who we are

DozaLink is a service from Doza that helps car wash operators monitor their chemical dispensers, stock, and costs. This policy covers the DozaLink website (dozalink.com) and the DozaLink app for iPhone and Android. If you have a question about it, write to [email protected].

DozaLink is used by businesses. When your employer or organization invites you, it decides who can see its information, and we look after that information on its behalf.

What we collect and why

Your account

Your name, email address, and password, so you can sign in and so we can send you messages about your account, such as a password reset. We never store your password in readable form.

Your organization's information

The car wash locations, Doza devices, chemicals, prices, and stock levels your team enters, and the dispensing records your devices send us. This is what DozaLink shows you in its reports.

Billing

If your organization pays for DozaLink, our payment provider, Stripe, handles the card details. We receive whether a payment went through, never the card number.

How DozaLink is used

We use our own analytics tool to understand which pages are used, how visitors found the website, and what kind of browser or phone they use. It stores a random visitor number in your browser. We use this only to improve DozaLink, never for advertising, and we do not share it.

When something goes wrong

If the website or app runs into an error, it sends us a technical report so we can fix it. These reports do not include your name, email address, or password. We keep them for 90 days.

The DozaLink phone app

• Alerts. If you turn on phone alerts, your phone gives us an address for sending you notifications. We use it only for the alerts you chose, and we delete it when you sign out or stop using the app.
• Camera. The app uses the camera only while you scan a device's QR code. Pictures are not saved or sent to us.
• No tracking. The app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information. We share it only:

• With companies that help us run DozaLink and follow our instructions: our hosting provider (Railway), Stripe for payments, Loops for account emails, Google Maps for looking up addresses, and Expo, Apple, and Google for delivering phone alerts.
• With the people in your organization, as your organization's settings allow.
• When the law requires it, or to protect people or DozaLink from harm or fraud.
• If Doza is sold or merges with another company, in which case this policy continues to apply.

How long we keep information

We keep account and organization information for as long as your organization uses DozaLink. Error reports and alert history are deleted after 90 days, and records of sent alerts after 30 days. When you delete your account, your name, email address, and sign-in are removed right away; records your organization keeps, such as device history, stay without your name.

Your choices and rights

• Delete your account: in DozaLink, open Settings and choose Delete my account.
• Phone alerts: turn them off in DozaLink's Settings or in your phone's settings.
• See, correct, or export your information: most of it is in DozaLink itself. For anything else, email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you further rights, such as objecting to how we use your information or complaining to a data protection authority. Contact us and we will help.

How we protect information

Everything travels over encrypted connections. Access to our systems is limited to the people who need it to run DozaLink.

Where information is stored

DozaLink runs on servers in the United States. If you use DozaLink from another country, your information is sent to and stored in the United States.

Children

DozaLink is a service for businesses and is not meant for children under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top. For important changes, we will also let account owners know by email.
