About these terms

These terms are the agreement between you and Doza for using DozaLink: the website (dozalink.com) and the DozaLink app for iPhone and Android. When you create an account or use DozaLink, you agree to these terms. If you use DozaLink for a business, you agree to them for that business.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

What DozaLink is

DozaLink is software for Doza chemical dispensers (devices). It shows how much chemical each device dispenses, what it costs, and how much stock is left. It sends alerts, and it lets your team change device settings and run pumps from a computer or phone.

DozaLink does not include the devices. Doza devices are sold separately. To buy them, write to [email protected].

Accounts and organizations

  • You need an account to use DozaLink. Give us your real name and an email address that you read, and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Your car wash business uses DozaLink as an organization. The person who creates the organization is its owner. Only the owner can start, pay for, or cancel the subscription.
  • The owner and admins invite people and choose what each person can do: viewers can look, operators can also run pumps, link devices, calibrate, change doses and update stock, and admins can also manage locations and the team.
  • A device belongs to one organization at a time. Link only devices that your business owns or is allowed to use.

Using DozaLink safely and fairly

Please do not:

  • try to see or change another organization's information or devices;
  • share your sign-in with people outside your organization;
  • attack, overload, or try to break DozaLink or the devices;
  • use DozaLink for anything against the law.

You are responsible for setting up your devices and chemicals safely at your site and for the doses your team chooses. Commands sent over the internet can arrive late or not at all, so check the result in DozaLink. To stop the pumps right away at the site, use Safety Stop in the device's Dispense Config, or switch off the device's power.

If an account breaks these rules or puts people, devices, or DozaLink at risk, we may pause or close it.

Billing

  • Price. DozaLink costs $10 per device, per month, for each device linked to your organization. Users and locations are free.
  • Your first payment. A subscription starts with at least one device. When you start it, you pay for one month for each linked device, and for one device if none is linked yet.
  • Each month after that. Your bill follows the number of linked devices. You are billed each month on the day of the month your subscription started.
  • Linking or unlinking part-way through a month. DozaLink updates your subscription on its own. The difference for the rest of that month is added to or taken off your next bill.
  • Paying. Our payment provider, Stripe, takes the payment. You can see your bills and change your payment method on the Billing page, under Manage payment & invoices. Prices do not include sales tax. If we have to collect sales tax, it will be added to your bill.
  • Promotion codes. If we give you a promotion code, enter it on the payment page.

If a payment fails

Stripe tries the payment again, and DozaLink emails the owner. You have 7 days from the date of the unpaid bill to update your payment method. During those 7 days, DozaLink keeps working as normal.

If the bill is still unpaid after 7 days, DozaLink pauses your organization:

  • Your team cannot open the dashboard, reports, or device pages, or send commands.
  • The owner can still open Billing to pay, or to subscribe again.
  • Your devices keep dosing with their saved settings.
  • We do not delete your data because a payment failed.

When you pay, or subscribe again, everything comes back. If every payment attempt fails, Stripe ends the subscription, and the owner can start a new one on the Billing page.

Cancelling

The owner can cancel at any time on the DozaLink website: open Billing, choose Manage payment & invoices, and cancel the subscription there. (Billing cannot be changed from inside the phone app.)

  • The subscription ends at the end of the month you have paid for. Until then, DozaLink works as normal, and the Billing page shows the last day.
  • After that day, DozaLink pauses your organization in the same way as after a failed payment. Your data stays, and you can subscribe again at any time.
  • If you unlink every device, you pay nothing for the months with no linked device, but the subscription stays open until you cancel it.

Your data

  • The information your team enters and your devices send belongs to your organization. We use it only to run DozaLink for you, as the Privacy Policy explains.
  • You can download reports as CSV files: open Home, choose Analytics, then Download CSV. For anything else, email [email protected].
  • We keep your organization's records for as long as the organization exists. We do not delete them because of your plan.
  • When you unlink a device, its history up to that day stays with your organization. A business that links the device after you cannot see the time it was linked to you.
  • Deleting your account (Settings, Delete my account) removes your name, email address, and sign-in. An owner must close the organization first, or ask us to give it to someone else.
  • Closing an organization (Settings, Close this organization) is for the owner. First unlink every device, cancel the subscription, and wait for it to end. After you close it, every member loses access, nobody can open the organization or its records in DozaLink again, and it is not billed again. It cannot be opened again from the app. We keep its records; we do not erase them at that moment. To ask us to erase them, email [email protected].

Changes and availability

We keep improving DozaLink, so features and screens change over time. DozaLink depends on the internet, your site's Wi-Fi, and outside companies. It may sometimes be slow or unavailable, for example during updates or outages. We do not promise that DozaLink will always be available or free of errors. When DozaLink cannot be reached, your devices keep dosing with their saved settings.

Our responsibility

We work hard to make DozaLink accurate and reliable, but we provide it "as is". Reports, costs, and stock levels are only as accurate as the information entered and the readings the devices send. Check important numbers before you act on them.

As far as the law allows, Doza is not responsible for indirect losses from using DozaLink or from not being able to use it, such as lost income, lost washes, or wasted chemicals. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for any problem with DozaLink is limited to what your organization paid us for DozaLink in the 12 months before the problem happened. Some laws do not allow these limits; if such a law applies to you, these limits apply only as far as that law allows.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update them here and change the date at the top. For important changes, we will also let account owners know by email. If you keep using DozaLink after a change, you agree to the new terms.
