Dosing pumps for car wash soaps, foams, waxes and drying agents
Doza Pumps dose the chemicals in your wash by mL instead of by tip size or valve position, so each dose is a number you can set, check and copy to your other sites.
Chemicals Doza runs
Most wash chemicals run on white Standard tubing at up to 5.0 mL/s, with tubing life of about 1,000 pumping hours, and we sell replacement tubing. Tire dressings use black Tire Shine tubing.
| Chemical | Tubing | Common trigger setting |
|---|---|---|
| Presoaks and detergents | White Standard | Set amount per car, or run while the arch is on |
| Foams and conditioners | White Standard | Run while the step is on |
| Wheel and tire cleaners | White Standard | Set amount per car |
| Waxes, sealants and ceramic products | White Standard | Set amount per car |
| Rinse aids and drying agents | White Standard | Run while the arch is on |
| Solvent-based and water-based tire shine | Black Tire Shine | Set amount per car |
Not sure about a product? Send us the safety data sheet and we will check it before you buy. We can source custom tubing if your application needs it.
A dose you can set as a number
Each pump has a flow rate and an amount. For example, 3 mL per car at 1.0 mL/s takes 3 seconds, and 1.0 mL/s during a 20-second arch delivers 20 mL. To change a dose you change the number from DozaLink or at the device, rather than swapping a tip or turning a valve.
Calibration ties that number to what really comes out. Measure a test dose with your chemical, save the result, and the device keeps up to 8 calibrated flow rates for each pump and tubing type. Calibrate after installing, after changing tubing, and when you move to a noticeably thicker or thinner chemical.
Cost per car and usage for every chemical
Enter what you pay per gallon or liter, and DozaLink turns each recorded dose into cost. See use and cost by site, chemical and device, estimated cost per car, and about how many days of supply are left. Download what's on screen as a CSV for your own books. There's a worked example of the cost per car math on our blog.
Control over who changes what
- Roles: Viewers can only look. Operators can also run pumps, calibrate and change doses. Admins can also lock local controls and manage locations and team.
- Per-location access: give a site manager access to their site and nothing else.
- Audit log: every change to devices, calibration, chemicals, locations, settings and team access, with before and after values.
Common questions
Which car wash chemicals can Doza dose?
Presoaks, detergents, foams, conditioners, wheel and tire cleaners, waxes, sealants, rinse aids and drying agents, along with tire shine. If you have an unusual product, send us its safety data sheet and we will check it, and we can source custom tubing if needed.
How many chemicals does one unit handle?
Each Doza unit has two independent pumps, so it doses two chemicals. Add units for more, and every unit shows up in the same DozaLink organization.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Settings are stored on the device, so wash-triggered dosing keeps working. Doza can also run local-only without Wi-Fi, although remote changes, reports and updates then are not available.
Do I need to change my wash controller?
No. Doza reads a controller output that is 24 to 120 V AC or DC when on. Each chemical function needs its own output.
